About Kensington - Technology
Modern
Manufacturing Means Quality!
All of Kensington’s windows are produced with
the latest window manufacturing techniques.
Four Point Welding
Technology Means:
- Frames and sashes are air and water tight for improved weathering and insulation.
- Every window is square and true.
- Each corner is physically stronger because there are no screws or fasteners
that can come loose over time.
- Each corner is milled smooth to provide a clean uninterrupted appearance.
Computer Controlled
Glass Assembly:
- Each insulated glass unit is sealed tight to withstand any weather and climate.
- Every piece of glass is robotically dimensioned to fit your custom sized window exactly.
- Dual seals around triple layer glass units provide a secondary seal around the glass.
 Computer Controlled Routing Systems:
- Positions tilt latches, locks and keeper, and night latches in exact locations.
- Optimal durability and consistency in every window.
- Clean and accurate mounting of each component is guaranteed.
Quality Control Checks
At every phase of manufacturing strict quality control checks are implemented. The
"we'll catch it at the end of the line" mentality doesn't exist at Kensington. Every
operation and every component is subjected to strict tolerances and should any part
of the process fall outside those tolerances, adjustments are made immediately.
